Lead Generation.. Done Right

SaveTodayAutoInsurance.com is an extremely interesting lead gen site. I have seen many similar models that are based on CPC advertising that payout very well, but this site takes that same concept one step farther by selling leads directly to a marketing firm. Lead generation for auto and health insurance can pay in the neighborhood of $50, or more, per lead and can be extremely lucrative if you can drive the correct traffic. This particular site appears to be professionally designed and coded, with high level click tracking implementation. They appear to be selling leads to Trouve Media and making somewhere around $11,000.00 in monthly revenue and netting out about $3,000 after their marketing expenditures.

This is an excellent implementation of a proven idea. This can be extremely profitable.

Making Money from Twitter

Selling Twitter services was an extremely hot market last year. I suppose it may still be, but I was a little surprised to see that a business like get twitters was still up and running. Some time ago Twitter went on the offensive and tried to deflate the thousands of businesses on their periphery. However, many companies like gettwitters.com are still in business selling a service that automatically adds new twitter followers to your account. The obvious benefit for the end user is that they now have a larger audience to tweet (or market) to.

GetTwitters makes about $1,500 – $2,000 per month fairly passively. The site is extremely well designed and would be fairly easy to set up yourself. All that you really need is a script which automatically logs into a users account and then seeks out other accounts to add as a follower. The script only executes so many requests per day in an attempt avoid detection from Twitter. I am sure that today there are a fairly good number of scripts which would offer this entire business in a box.

A Testament to Backlinks

I can’t tell you how many static html sites I see that are dragging in some decent set and forget Adsense (or even Amazon Affiliate) income. In fact, I have noticed that on the whole static html tends to fair better than letting a wordpress site age. A decent example is walnutflooring.org, which passively generates about 100 per month. There are several critical components that go into making this happen:

Aggressive Adsense placement is obviously a top priority.

Exact Domain Matching can certainly help. That is to say that if your domain exactly matches the search engine query you are much more likely to gain a viable income which justifies your efforts. You can most likely get by with an extra word (like “hub”) but it will make things much more difficult.

BACKLINKS, BACKLINKS, BACKLINKS. The key to making something like this work is to generate a solid backlink portfolio. When it comes to backlinks quality can often outweigh quantity. I have seen certain publishers build out dozens of $200/month static sites based largely on eZineArticle backlinks.
